Friday we had the missionaries over for lunch/dinner (they eat one meal in the afternoon instead lunch and dinner). Jed took them to a nice restaurant here and let them pick out anything they wanted, and then brought all the food back home. They both got steak and potatoes, and Jed got a couple dishes for the table. It was a ton of food, but the elders ate every bite. They only get $40.00 a month for food and other personal products, so the meat was a treat.
It was fun to have them over again (they came over Wednesday and Thursday, too). We figured out that Elder Thedell knows a few of my relatives - what a coincidence!
Elder Garcia was very happy about his fries.

What lucky missionaries. Thanks for the comments. We miss you guys! If you ever get back to Chicago;) and want a trip a little closer to home, come on down! Good luck with everything, especially the insurance thing. I think I finally got mine figured out!
the pic of the elder holding the fries makes me giggle.. just caught up on your posts and sorry it has been a difficult experience.. not feeling safe makes it extremely hard to enjoy the time you have. hopefully you and zoe can find things to do.. maybe she could find a native to date as she is also american and under 55 :) hopefully that sounds humorous to you still. hang in there!!!
